<If I Travel...>
when someone come up to me and ask me “what is travel for you” “what kind of trip do you want to take” I would stately say “just for resting, enjoying and looking around”without any hesitation. And my respond would probably be Germany or some Europe country which many people easily prefer. But when I read a webtoon named “If I was a year younger” I thought my trip must be different from what people most think, different from the trip which is always crowded with people or based on plan. I thought my trip don’t need direction or plan. Just free feeling to go around wherever I want to go each day. Such as traveling while doing part-time job or something else. These kind of trip can be more easy for me to learn about the culture or people of that country and make more memory than going to place which is appointed in magazine.
Through many media one of the country I want to visit is Mongolia. The reason is Mongolia is the place where I first got access to through media. but the main reason is through my research to Mongolia, Mongolia have large land, many well-reserved remains which well-matched with nature and feel fresh by looking at endless flatland landscape since there is no tall mountain like in Korea. (In this connection I may add that Mongolian has good eye sight because of kind of environment but Korean doesn’t because of environment full of tall buildings.). If I get the chance to travel I would be very impressed by the wildness. Although Mongolia is underdeveloped than Korea, I can feel purity from people in Mongolia and have less monetary burden since the price is relatively lower than Korea.
Reason I want to travel Mongolia is...
1.Crossing grassland on horseback
2.Cool summer weather
3.Rustic feeling which makes visitors feel Mongolian warmhearted
4.Grand landscape of gobi desert
5.Peculiar feeling of desert which is not able in korea
6.Low price
7.Uncomplicated feeling of coziness

When someone comes up to me and asks me; “What is travel for you?” “What kind of trip do you want to take?” I would simply say without hesitation, ‘Just for resting, enjoying myself and looking around’. And my response would probably include going to countries like Germany or some other European country which many people often prefer. But when I read a webtoon named, “If I was a year younger”, I changed my mind and thought my trip must be different from what most people think. It must be different from the trip which is always crowded with people or based on a plan. My trip doesn’t need a direction or plan. I want to feel free to go wherever I want to go each day like traveling while doing a part-time job or something else. This kind of trip would make it easy for me to learn about the culture or people of that country and make more memories than going to a popular place suggested in a magazine.
By looking through many kinds of media, I’ve decided that one of the countries I want to visit is Mongolia. Mongolia is the first place I accessed. But the main reason I chose Mongolia is because of my research. Mongolia is a large land with many well preserved remains which match well with nature. It feels fresh to me when I look at the endless flatland landscape since there is are no tall mountains like in Korea. (I have heard that Mongolian people has have good eyesight because of this kind of this flat environment, whereas Korean people don’t because the Korean environment is full of tall buildings.) If I get the chance to travel I think I would be very impressed by the wildness. Although Mongolia is less developed than Korea, I can imagine the purity of the people in Mongolia. Finally, I think that Mongolian people have less monetary burden since the prices are relatively lower than in Korea.
In summary, the reason I want to travel to Mongolia is;
1. Crossing the grasslands on horseback
2. The cool summer weather
3. The rustic warmhearted feeling of Mongolians
4. The grand landscape of the Gobi desert
5. The peculiar feeling of the desert which is not possible in Korea
6. Low prices
7. An uncomplicated feeling of coziness < Copyright © The Gachon Herald All rights reserved > |
