About Time

  Recently hit movie About Time (2013) was a impressive, meaningful movie for me. Romance-comedy About Time (2013) is a film about love and family.
  The hero, Tim knows the fact that men from his family have an ability to turn back time by his father. Tim wanted to achieve love in the ability. He falls in love with Mary. Whenever he regrets, he turns back time to share a perfect love with her. From day to day he spends happy time with her. And he succeeds in getting married with her. However, the ability to turn back time was of no avail in the face of death. He couldn't avoid his father's death. Finally, Tim realizes the way to be happy, living his day differently twice as his father says. And he didn't turn back time no more. He does his best from day to day as if every moment is the last of his life. And the movie ends with the scene that Tim turns back time to spend time together with his father lastly.
  After watching the movie, I felt again the preciousness of 'Now', 'Present' of my life. Everyone is given a day of 24 hours equally. According to the present we live, the present can be past, just a part of life or the present can be precious memory which might change future. But people knows it, yet to mistake and always regret is human. That's natural. Because we are not perfect being. I always feel regret when I seek perfection or treat people on my feeling. It seems that happiness follows naturally when I know my lack, thank the given circumstance and do my best. To live do our best, considering everyday precious is not just to work hard. It is to smile at a passing child. It is to offer a pleasing word to colleague. It is to pray for my friend who is troubled. 'Love', 'Thank', 'Serve'. These are my favorite words. It seens that I feel happy most when I feel I do well sincerely these three things. I still so lacking. I often spend days having little to do lazily. Sometimes, I talk without much thought and hurt someone. And sometimes I feel everything's a bother. So I don't know whether I have qualification to write this essay. But, when I thank small thing and treat people who I meet with love and mind to serve them, I feel great happiness. The happiness, the pleasure is so big that I hope many people feel it. In already given life, I hope we live, loving each other and thanking if it is done. I believe the such moments of life from each of us will change the wrong world beautiful. Whatever it is, always everything begins with me. I wish eagerly that I become the one person first.

  After watching the movie, I thought about how precious the present time is in my life. Everyone is given a day of 24 hours. According to the way we live, the present can become the past or the present can become a precious memory which might change the future. People know this, but regretting our mistakes is part of being human. That's natural because we are not perfect. I always feel regret when I seek perfection or treat people badly. It seems that happiness always follows when I recognize that I cannot have everything, but rather should be grateful for the given circumstance and do my best. To do our best in life and to consider every day precious, we must do more than just work hard. What makes the day precious is smiling at a passing child, offering a pleasing word to a colleague, or praying for a friend who is troubled. ‘Love’, ‘Thank’, and ‘Serve’ are my favorite words. It seems that I feel the happiest when I follow these three ideas. I still need to improve because I often spend days doing very little. Sometimes, I talk without thinking and hurt someone. And sometimes I feel everything’s a bother. I don't know whether I have the qualifications to write this essay. But when I am thankful for small things, treat people who I meet with love, and serve people when they need help, I feel great happiness. My happiness and pleasure is so great that I hope many people feel it. In life, I hope we love and thank each other. I believe that such moments in life from each of us will change the world into a more beautiful place. Whatever it is, everything always begins with me. I wish eagerly that I can be that person to initiate change within me first.
