The most common ailments experienced by modern people are mental illnesses, surpassing colds, muscle aches, or COVID-19. Mental illnesses are conditions that affect up to 3 out of 10 people in their lifetime, and according to World Health Organization statistics, about 450 million people worldwide suffer. The drama *It's Okay, That's Love* tells a touching story and captures the pain and courage of the main characters. Hae-soo unknowingly lives with mental trauma, and the psychological shock causes her to experience anxiety about love. Separately, Jae-yeol continues his life suffering from schizophrenia due to childhood trauma, which paints a process of accepting and healing.

Hae-soo was a psychiatrist, but she had a mental illness. It was a form of psychasthenia related to love due to trauma. She couldn’t accept her love trauma. Eventually, she undergoes the process of facing her trauma and accepting it with the help of Jae-yeol. Finally, Hae-soo acknowledges her mental wounds and begins the healing process, overcoming her sense of incompleteness and developing herself mentally.

Jae-yeol suffers from mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, due to childhood trauma. He also had characteristics such as only being able to sleep in the bathroom. However, he comes to a realization on his own and begins to receive treatment with the help of Hae-soo and those around him. Jae-yeol showed true courage to overcome and heal mental difficulties. Through these processes, the drama emphasizes the importance of accepting mental difficulties and overcoming them, conveying hope and courage to viewers.

This drama reminds viewers that mental illnesses can affect anyone and encourages them to change their perception of psychiatrists. Just as it is natural to go to the hospital when you are hurt, so don't hesitate visiting the psychiatrist when you feel down.
