The last article... I had a special feeling when I finally got to publish it. I’ve imagined this moment since I was in the first grade, which mean that I wanted to finish my English newspaper activities well. There are many things I really want to say, but I would like to thank the members of ‘the Gachon Herald’ throughout this article. First of all, I am so grateful to the seniors of the 37th class who believed in me and voted for me, and I also want to thank the seniors of the 38th class who gave me the courage and helped me experience the editor-in-chief. I was able to grow through listening to the good advice from the seniors. And to Hyunjin, Haejin, Eunseon, Seyoung, Junyoung, Suhyeon, Taeseok, and Yeonwoo who have been with me, I want to say thank you for all of your hard work.
40th and 41st fellows
I have enjoyed my time here and appreciate the support you have provided to me with. I want you all to know that it is very hard to leave and I will miss you all very much. I’ve had a wonderful experience working with ‘the Gachon Herald’ and have learned many new things which I am sure will somehow help me in the future. The time that I spent with the Gachon Herald was one of the best times of my life and I will remember this forever. And I want to tell you not to worry. Everyone is worried about being in charge of the desk as an executive, but this will be the first time for everyone. It’s not possible to be perfect from the start, but you can do well if you try your best. I was also worried because it was a significant role that I suddenly took on, but I got used to it the more I did it. You can do well, so don't worry, just enjoy and do your best.
Looking back on this year, I can clearly understand the meaning of bittersweet. I did my best, but there are things I regret. I think I could have made better choice, but I did the best I could in the situation I was in. It seems that everyone discovers later what they weren’t able to see in the moment. I will never forget the memories with ‘the Gachon Herald’ that made my college life, which was depressed by COVID-19, brighter. There were some difficult parts during my busy 3rd year, but I feel sad to leave. It was an experience that I am grateful for which helped me grow and make the brightest memories. I am so grateful for this experience and I will remember this forever.
